U.S. Disables 2 More Vessels Violating Blockade in Gulf of Oman
USCENTCOM
TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. forces disabled M/T Sea Star III and M/T Sevda, May 8, prior to both vessels entering an Iranian port on the Gulf of Oman in violation of the ongoing U.S. blockade.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) enforced blockade measures against two Iranian-flagged unladen oil tankers attempting to pull into an Iranian port on the Gulf of Oman. A U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet from USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) disabled both tankers after firing precision munitions into their smokestacks, preventing the non-compliant ships from entering Iran.
U.S. forces also disabled Iranian-flagged M/T Hasna, May 6, as it attempted to sail to an Iranian port in the Gulf of Oman. An F/A-18 Super Hornet from USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) disabled the unladen oil tanker's rudder by firing several rounds from a 20mm cannon gun.
All three vessels are no longer transiting to Iran.
"U.S. forces in the Middle East remain committed to full enforcement of the blockade of vessels entering or leaving Iran," said Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander. "Our highly trained men and women in uniform are doing incredible work."
Multiple commercial vessels have been disabled and more than 50 have been redirected by CENTCOM forces to ensure compliance.”

U.S. Military Supports Launch of Project Freedom in Strait of Hormuz
USCENTCOM
TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces will begin supporting Project Freedom, May 4, to restore freedom of navigation for commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
The mission, directed by the President, will support merchant vessels seeking to freely transit through the essential international trade corridor. A quarter of the world’s oil trade at sea and significant volumes of fuel and fertilizer products are transported through the strait.
“Our support for this defensive mission is essential to regional security and the global economy as we also maintain the naval blockade,” said Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander.
Last week, the U.S. Department of State announced a new initiative, in partnership with the Department of War, to enhance coordination and information sharing among international partners in support of maritime security in the strait. The Maritime Freedom Construct aims to combine diplomatic action with military coordination, which will be critical during Project Freedom.
U.S. military support to Project Freedom will include guided-missile destroyers, over 100 land and sea-based aircraft, multi-domain unmanned platforms, and 15,000 service members.”

USCENTCOM
TAMPA, Fla. – U.S. forces operating in the Arabian Sea enforced naval blockade measures against an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel attempting to sail toward an Iranian port, April 19.
Guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) intercepted M/V Touska as it transited the north Arabian Sea at 17 knots enroute to Bandar Abbas, Iran. American forces issued multiple warnings and informed the Iranian-flagged vessel it was in violation of the U.S. blockade.
After Touska’s crew failed to comply with repeated warnings over a six-hour period, Spruance directed the vessel to evacuate its engine room. Spruance disabled Touska’s propulsion by firing several rounds from the destroyer’s 5-inch MK 45 Gun into Touska’s engine room. U.S. Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit later boarded the non-compliant vessel, which remains in U.S. custody.
American forces acted in a deliberate, professional, and proportional manner to ensure compliance. Since the blockade’s commencement, U.S. forces have directed 25 commercial vessels to turn around or return to an Iranian port.”

USS Frank E. Peterson (DDG 121) and USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) transited the Strait of Hormuz and operated in the Arabian Gulf as part of a broader mission to ensure the strait is fully clear of sea mines previously laid by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

“Press Release | March 31, 2026
CENTCOM Refutes Media Claims of U.S. Strikes in Lamerd, Iran
USCENTCOM
TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command Spokesperson U.S. Navy Capt. Tim Hawkins provided the following statement:
Several media outlets recently reported accusations of U.S. forces striking a sports hall and residential area in the city of Lamerd, Iran, on Feb. 28. After looking into the reports, U.S. Central Command has confirmed the accusations are false.
U.S. forces did not launch any strikes at any time into the city of Lamerd or anywhere within 30 miles during the opening day of Operation Epic Fury. Furthermore, video footage circulated by media outlets alleging U.S. involvement does not show a Precision Strike Missile (PrSM). A PrSM is 13 feet in length. The munition depicted in the video appears to be twice as long, consistent with the dimensions and silhouette of an Iranian Hoveyzeh cruise missile.
U.S. forces do not target civilians, unlike the Iranian regime which has attacked civilian locations in neighboring countries more than 300 times.”

“Press Release | March 11, 2026
Civilians Warned to Avoid Ports Used by Iranian Forces
USCENTCOM
TAMPA, Fla. – On March 11, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) is issuing a warning to civilians that the Iranian regime is using civilian ports along the Strait of Hormuz to conduct military operations that threaten international shipping.
This dangerous action risks the lives of innocent people. Civilian ports used for military purposes lose protected status and become legitimate military targets under international law.
CENTCOM urges civilians in Iran to immediately avoid all port facilities where Iranian naval forces are operating. Iranian dockworkers, administrative personnel, and commercial vessel crews should avoid Iranian naval vessels and military equipment.
Iranian naval forces have positioned military vessels and equipment within civilian ports serving commercial maritime traffic.
Although the U.S. military also cannot guarantee civilian safety in or near facilities used by the Iranian regime for military purposes, American forces will continue taking every feasible precaution to minimize harm to civilians.

The UAE have confirmed the Air Defense Systems intercepted 2 ballistic missiles and 3 suicide drones launched by the IRGC towards the United Arab Emirates. Near the Dubai International Airport. Daily Iran War Update:Operation Epic Fury -
April 25, 2026
Today marks the 100 Year Anniversary of the Pahlavi Dynasty in Iran. The First Shah was the father of modern Iran until the Islamist Revolution in 1979. Today, his son, Crowned Prince Reza Pahlavi has been chosen by the people of Iran to free the people from their chains and lead the country into the modern free world once again. The people have spoken, and Reza Pahlavi has accepted the honor. May the next 100 years bring the people of Iran truth, freedom, and a life free of terror. Reza Pahlavi is to be commended for his sacrifice and dedication to the people of Iran.
Developments:
US Navy and Marines are maintaining a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian regime attacked 3 commercial ships. The US has seized 2 shadow fleet vessels.
Talks were planned for this week in Islamabad, Pakistan, but President Trump has cancelled his envoy including Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff.
The Iranian Regime has fallen prey to in-fighting within their own factions, it’s unclear who is, in fact, in charge. The President Pezeshkian has accused IRGC Commander Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi and Khatam of Anbia Central Headquarter’s Commander IRGC Brigadier General Ali Abdollah Ali Abadi of “acting unilaterally and fueling escalation.” The IRGC just mentioned are one faction with an ongoing rivalry against the so-called “pragmatist” faction including President Masoud Pezeshkian and the Foreign Affairs Minister Mohammad Ghalibaf. Both differ in their opinion of how to handle the negotiations with President Trump. Supposedly Vahidi has blocked attempts by the pragmatists to come to the negotiating table. Whether the IRGC is telling the truth is unknown but highly unlikely.
